Many times athletes often overlook the importance of working on the mental side of their sport. The downside to leaving this part of your sport training unexamined is that you likely don't know there's a problem until it's too late. You find yourself with a flat tire on the side of the road having a temper tantrum, losing minutes in your race, when you could be focused, regulated, and on top of what has to occur next to set yourself up for the best day with the situation you've been dealt.
